What is Tixel?

Tixel is a thermo-mechanical skin rejuvenation treatment, performed with the use of 81 heated pyramids that helps to tighten thinning skin around the eyes, can decrease hooding that can occur on the upper eyelids, lessen wrinkles on the face, neck and décolletage, as well as treat skin pigmentation issues, acne and minor scarring. It has been used in Europe for many years and has been FDA approved in the US since early 2021. It is non-invasive, with minimal downtime in comparison to other skin treatments such as lasers, but is able to be safely used in areas that other treatments cannot (eyelids, darker skin tones). The machine's thermo-mechanical action allows for the creation of small micropores that, as the skin heals itself naturally, allows for increased collagen and elastin production as well as increased absorption of topical skin care products.
